Type 1 to Type 2 Adapter Cable / Plug

Type 1 to Type 2 adapter for EV cable and plug that allows a Type 1 charging cable to charge a Type 2 electric vehicle. To use, simply attach the Type 1 plug of your Type 1 to Type 2 charging cable into the adapter and then connect the Type 2 plug of the adapter to the Type 2 socket of an electric vehicle. If you buy a Type 1 to Type 2 32A adapter cable, even though your electric vehicle is 16A and the EV charging cable is rated at 16A, you can still use the 32A  converter to connect a 16A Type 1 cable and charge your Type 2 vehicle.

You can therefore use the EV adapter cable when using your home or office charging unit and with public charging stations, i.e Mode 3 Type 2 sockets.

Please use the rubber cover for your connectors when not in use and store the charging cable in a dry place. The EV converter plug can collect moisture and it will not work if it senses moisture.
