Which is the best charging cable for a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV for using with a wall charger or public charging station?
All the charging cables listed below can be used to charge your Outlander PHEV. If you require a charging cable for charging your Mitsubishi Outlander from a public charging station or office / home wall charger then you will require a Mode 3 Type 1 to Type 2 charging cable and both the Type 1 to Type 2 charging cable 16A and the Type 1 to Type 2 charging cable 32A are suitable for this. Although the 32A charging cable can provide up to 7,4kW, it will only provide the maximum charging capacity of the vehicle, which is around 3,7kW. We tend to recommend the 32A cable as charging cables may limit the 16A cable to slightly less than 3,7kW maximum current.
Does the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV come with a charging cable?
The Outlander usually comes with a Type 1 to 3 pin charger for charging your vehicle using a household socket. As far as we know, the Type 1 to Type 2 standard cable is not provided. This information can change as the seller / dealer may provide a different cable, so it is a good idea to check with the seller which charging cable(s) are supplied with the vehicle.
